that is posted not because of the drink, not because of my college crushes, but because we’ve been crushing it!
yesterday was awesome as well.  as i already said, the morning row went well.  then, we pulled off a quick 4 step lactate test before our lift.  one kudos for me is that my testing on willy was the first time i did so and had a successful sample each time.  no errors and good blood sample.  you really need to do it a handful of times to develop your rhythm and know how to extract a good blood sample.  it’s not just about how hard you prick, but about how you prick (the ear that is).  i’ve talked about lactate before, so i’m not going to go into great depths now.  both our tests were great though, and i’m confident they were fairly accurate.  mine was a marked improvement even over the one done in november.
