so posted just before this are some pics of long beach where we are now training.
this pic is of angela madsen who is our gracious long beach host.  we’ve been very fortunate to have great hosts.  in newport beach, it was a fellow penn ac member, ross flemer, who took us into his west coast home that was 2 miles from NAC.  now, we are 1 mile from LBRA (long beach rowing association).  angela is an amazing woman as you can gather from the link with this photo, but you can find out even more about her at her website http://www.rowoflife.com/.  she still teaches rowing, but for this olympiad, she’s hung up the oars and made the switch to shot put and javelin!
