the amenities.

so we have an awesome jacuzzi at the place we’re staying that has already relieved some soreness.  however, it can do nothing for the soreness done to my ego when i broke a toilet seat.

you see i got a massage today.  it was ok.  guy did a lot of stuff and worked pretty hard on me, but not quite in the right way to rid the knots in my back.  afterwards, i knew i had to shower to get the oils off, so i figured why not start work on cutting my hair.  i was long overdue, always do it myself, and was planning to integrate a faux hawk avec a subtle faux mullet.  this way the shower will rid the hair and rid the oil.  so i go to the bathroom we use to shower which has a mirror at toilet height.  mid-haircut, i’ll be damned if that toilet didn’t give out right beneath me.  fortunately, i’m pretty adept at repairing toilets.

as for the rowing, we had a great row this morning.  some tough drill work with square blade legs only and full stroke square blade rowing that could still use perfecting.  however, the regular strokes were long, solid, and stable.  it was a good comeback from yesterday where we had a less than perfect row.  not terrible, but we had minute pieces mixed into steady state and the rhythm was more strained than flowing for most of the minutes on.  improved by the end, but we’ve still taken better ones.
