Eskild Ebbesen – University of Copenhagen
Eskild Ebbesen is a former Danish lightweight rower. Danish lightweight rowers are notorious for being fit and fast. The other neat thing about them is that their training is often talked about as if it is mythical folklore. They do only around an hour of training at a time and yet they have people like Stephansen setting unbelievable erg records. This video gives you a bit of an insight into their training plan. Who knows from what part of their season this training is and if they do this year round. For all we know (listen to that), they may do hours upon hours in the fall. Here though, it shows just 12 sessions with about 200k of work a week. Not that much.
Thanks to Gutting for passing along.
